THE QUEST - SWIRL EP

THE QUEST: ‘As far as my influences on SWIRL EP and my other current productions are concerned, I’m just trying to have a really good time and I’ve eventually figured out that I’m mixing my whole musical background. I always try to have on one hand a black music, r’n’b, hip-hop, soul influence or something like that, and on the other hand big beats to make it sound good. ‘Club’ sonorities are not dominant on my work, I’m actually more focusing on the vibe. Roughly, I’m trying to get a content that is more and more exclusive. I like the swag, surprises and big vibes.’

In his new SWIRL EP, THE QUEST shows up a panel of remarkable tracks. His musical eclecticism, his fat rhythmics, crazy basses that are blowing your mind and your perception of music. Techno influences and also tech-house, house and booty ones characterize the audacious melodies of these sounds. With Swirl, THE QUEST is juggling with tropical rythms, house vocals, acid melodies and “wobbles”; with Drop, which is more ‘booty’ sounding, The Quest switches to a different theme and achieves making us dance till death.
